A mummy makeover (sometimes called a "mum transformation") is a customised combination of cosmetic procedures that address the physical changes caused by pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding.

The most common combination includes:

• Tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), removes excess skin and tightens weakened abdominal muscles that separated during pregnancy
• Breast lift (mastopexy), raises and reshapes breasts that have lost volume or started to sag after breastfeeding
• Breast augmentation, restores or enhances breast volume using implants, often combined with a lift

Before Your Procedure

Once you decide to go ahead, you will receive a detailed treatment plan from your surgeon, along with pre-procedure instructions. These typically include stopping certain medications, avoiding smoking, and maintaining a healthy diet in the weeks leading up to your trip.

During Your Stay in Turkey

You will be met at the airport by your VIP transfer and taken to your 5-star hotel. The following day, you will visit the hospital for your pre-procedure assessments, blood tests, measurements, and a face-to-face consultation with your surgeon. This is your chance to discuss your goals in detail and confirm your treatment plan.

Your mummy makeover is performed under general anaesthesia and typically takes between 4 and 6 hours, depending on the combination of procedures. You will stay in the hospital for 2-3 nights, with round-the-clock nursing care. Your personal translator will be with you throughout, so you always know exactly what is happening.

After Your Procedure

Once discharged, you will return to your hotel to continue your initial recovery. Your surgeon will see you for a follow-up check before you fly home, and you will receive detailed aftercare instructions to guide your recovery.

You will wear a compression garment for several weeks after your procedure. This supports your healing, reduces swelling, and helps shape your final result.

Recovery from a mummy makeover takes longer than a single procedure because your body is healing from multiple treatments at once. Most patients find that the first 1-2 weeks are the most challenging, with swelling, bruising, and restricted movement.

Week 1-2: Rest is essential. You will need help with daily tasks, especially if you have young children. Avoid lifting anything heavier than a kettle. Most patients take prescription pain relief for the first few days, then switch to over-the-counter medication.

Common effects (expected and temporary):
