Gynecomastia with Liposuction in Turkey

Gynecomastia with liposuction uses suction-assisted fat removal to reduce the volume of the male breast. Your surgeon makes very small incisions (typically 3-5mm) in inconspicuous locations and inserts a thin cannula to break up and suction out the excess fatty tissue.

This technique works best when the breast enlargement is predominantly fatty, soft tissue that moves and jiggles rather than firm glandular tissue. Your surgeon assesses this during your consultation.

The procedure is performed bilaterally (both sides) to ensure a symmetrical result. By carefully sculpting the fat layer, your surgeon creates a smooth, natural chest contour that matches the rest of your torso.

Because liposuction uses very small incisions, scarring is minimal, typically just small dots that fade to become virtually invisible. The skin gradually retracts and tightens over the following weeks as it adapts to the reduced volume beneath.

You may be a good candidate for liposuction-based gynecomastia treatment if you:

• Have soft, fatty breast enlargement (rather than firm glandular tissue)
• Are at a stable weight or close to your target weight
• Have good skin elasticity (your skin will need to retract after fat removal)
• Feel self-conscious about the fullness of your chest
• Are in good general health
• Do not use anabolic steroids or substances known to cause gynecomastia

If your surgeon determines that your breast tissue is primarily glandular (firm), excisional gynecomastia surgery may be more appropriate. In some cases, a combination of liposuction and excision gives the best result.

Days 3-4, Hospital stay: Recovery with a compression vest fitted. Your surgeon checks the contour and monitors for any fluid collection.

Day 5, Hotel recovery: Daily check-in from your patient coordinator. Compression vest worn continuously. Light walking.

Day 6, Departure: Final check-up and VIP airport transfer.

Months 1-12: Aftercare check-ins with your patient coordinator.

Recovery from liposuction-based gynecomastia treatment is typically quicker than excisional surgery.

Days 1-3: Moderate soreness and swelling. Bruising is common. Wear your compression vest at all times. Pain is usually manageable with over-the-counter medication.

Week 1-2: Swelling begins to subside. Light activities and desk work are usually possible within 5-7 days.

Weeks 2-4: Most patients return to normal daily activities. Compression vest worn for 3-4 weeks total. Gentle exercise can resume from week 3.

Weeks 4-6: Full exercise can resume. The chest contour continues to improve as remaining swelling resolves and the skin retracts.

Months 2-3: Final results become visible. The treated area may feel firmer than usual initially, this is normal scar tissue from the liposuction and it softens over time.

Liposuction-based gynecomastia treatment is a minimally invasive procedure with a good safety profile. Potential risks include bruising, swelling, infection, contour irregularities, asymmetry, and fluid collection (seroma).

There is also a risk of inadequate correction if there is a significant glandular component that liposuction alone cannot address. If this is found during the procedure, your surgeon may perform a small excision through the same incisions.
