Your health decisions matter, so does getting the right information
The Health Store Turkey provides this website and its content for general informational purposes only. Nothing on this site should be taken as medical advice, diagnosis, or a recommendation for any specific treatment or procedure.
Every person is different. What works brilliantly for one patient may not be suitable for another. That is why we always recommend speaking with your GP or a qualified medical professional before making any decisions about your health.
This website is not a substitute for medical advice
While we work hard to keep our content accurate and up to date, the information on this site:
- Is for general guidance only, it does not replace a professional medical consultation
- May not reflect your individual circumstances, your medical history, current health, and personal needs all affect what treatment is right for you
- Should not be used to self-diagnose, if you have concerns about your health, please speak to your GP
- May change over time, medical best practice evolves, and we update our content regularly
Individual results vary
We are proud of the results our 10,000+ patients have achieved. However, every person responds differently to treatment. Factors such as your age, health, lifestyle, and how closely you follow pre- and post-procedure instructions all affect your results.
Any before-and-after images, testimonials, or case studies on this site represent individual experiences. They are not a promise or prediction of what your results will be. Your surgeon will discuss realistic expectations with you during your consultation.
Always consult your GP
Before travelling to Turkey for any procedure, we strongly recommend that you:
- Speak with your GP about your plans and any pre-existing conditions
- Disclose all medications you are currently taking, including over-the-counter medicines and supplements
- Share your full medical history honestly, this helps our surgical teams keep you safe
- Obtain a letter of fitness to travel if your GP recommends one
If your GP advises against a procedure, we will always respect that guidance. Your safety comes first.
Turkish complication insurance
As of January 2026, Turkish law requires that all international patients receiving medical treatment in Turkey are covered by mandatory complication insurance. This insurance is arranged as part of your treatment package and provides cover for any complications arising from your procedure.
This is a legal requirement introduced by the Turkish government to protect patients. It means that if you experience a complication related to your treatment, the costs of corrective care are covered. Your patient coordinator will explain exactly what this insurance covers before you travel.
Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) compliance
All content on this website is produced in line with the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) codes. We are committed to honest, responsible advertising.
This means:
- We do not make claims we cannot substantiate, pricing, statistics, and credentials referenced on this site are based on verifiable information
- We do not promise specific outcomes, medical results depend on individual factors, and we present realistic expectations
- Testimonials reflect genuine patient experiences, they are not edited to exaggerate results
- Pricing is transparent, starting prices are clearly indicated, and your final quote is confirmed in writing before any payment is taken
Our commitment to you
We take our responsibility seriously. Our hospitals in Izmir and Antalya are government-licensed and JCI-accredited, and our surgical teams are experienced professionals. But we also believe you deserve complete honesty about what any procedure can and cannot achieve.
If you have questions about anything on this site, or would like to discuss your options with no obligation, we are here to help.
