Double Chin Liposuction in Turkey

Double chin liposuction (also called submental liposuction) is a procedure that removes the pocket of fat beneath the chin using a thin cannula inserted through a tiny incision. It is one of the most effective ways to eliminate a double chin and define the jawline.

The procedure works by breaking up and suctioning out the fat cells that sit between the skin and the platysma muscle beneath the chin. A small incision (just a few millimetres) is made in the natural crease under the chin, through which the cannula is inserted. The fat is removed evenly and precisely.

Double chin liposuction can address:

During Your Stay in Turkey

Day 1-3: Expect swelling beneath the chin, this can temporarily make the area look fuller before it looks slimmer. Mild bruising may appear. Wear your chin strap as directed. Keep your head elevated. Discomfort is mild and managed with standard pain relief.

Day 3-7: Swelling begins to reduce noticeably. Bruising fades. The improved jawline starts to emerge. You can return to light activities.

Day 7-10: Most visible swelling has settled. The jawline looks more defined. Most patients return to work and social activities. You may continue wearing the chin strap at night.

Week 2-4: The sculpted result becomes increasingly defined as residual swelling resolves. Normal exercise can be resumed.

Month 1-3: Your final result is fully apparent, a defined jawline and smooth chin profile. The fat cells do not return.

Common effects (expected and temporary):
