Your practitioner will use the best technique for each individual mole. With 8-10 moles, a combination of methods is typical, ensuring the optimal result for every mole regardless of its size, type, or location.

Every mole is individually labelled and sent for histological analysis. You will receive results for each one, confirming they are benign.

The procedure uses local anaesthesia throughout. The total dose is carefully monitored to remain within safe limits. For patients who are anxious about the length of the session, a mild sedative can be arranged.

Before Your Procedure

Avoid blood-thinning medications for 24-48 hours beforehand. Wear comfortable, loose clothing that provides easy access to the mole locations.

During Your Procedure

At the licensed clinic, your practitioner numbs each site individually as they work through the moles methodically. Each mole is excised, labelled, and prepared for histological analysis.

The session takes approximately 90-120 minutes. Your practitioner will check on your comfort throughout. Fine sutures are placed where needed.

After Your Procedure

Small dressings cover each site. You can leave the clinic and continue with your day. You may feel more tenderness than with fewer moles, as you have multiple healing sites, over-the-counter pain relief is sufficient.
