Before Your Treatment

Preparation is straightforward. Avoid blood-thinning medications, alcohol, and fish oil supplements for 24-48 hours before your appointment.

During Your Treatment

The treatment takes place in a licensed clinic. Your practitioner will cleanse your skin and may apply a topical numbing cream if you prefer, though most patients find it unnecessary.

Using a very fine needle, botulinum toxin is injected into precise points across both treatment areas. The injections are quick and cause only a mild pinching sensation. The entire process takes around 15-20 minutes.

After Your Treatment

You can leave immediately and carry on with your day. Avoid touching or rubbing the treated areas for 4 hours, stay upright, and skip strenuous exercise, saunas, and alcohol for 24 hours.
