Panaromic Radiography is an extraoral imaging tecnique which shows all the teeth in mouth, buried teeth, bone tissues, full chin bones, physiological and pathalogical cavities in area of mouth and joints within the same image at once. It is used especially for the general treatment of mouth examination that aims control, buried teeth extraction, resection, small cysts or sth like implant application such as simple surgical operations.
Digital Radiography (RVG)
The negative radiology techniques that were used in the past years have many disadvantages such as damaging the environment. For example, in the bath stage there was more waste time and as well as chemicals are used in bath solution and X-Ray contains lead. Besides the films were damaged easily.
In new techniques, the images are easily monitored. Also color settings, magnification-reduction processes and measurements can be made. In this technique, the radiation that affects the patient has decreased considerably.
Computed Tomography This technique is used when the traditional intraoral and extraoral imaging systems like big cysts, tumors and planning implant applications are deficient.
