Genital Aesthetics – Labiaplasty
Genital area aesthetics includes a series of surgical procedures applied to improve women’s genital organ appearance. Like many aspects of human anatomy, female genital organs come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and appearances within normal limits. Before any surgical intervention, it is important to determine if there is really a problem with the genitals or if there will be some other solution.
People can continue their business and social activities shortly after the aesthetic operations. Thanks to the trust-based communication between the patient and the doctor, satisfactory results are obtained after the procedures. With advanced and fast medical techniques, patients can easily achieve the results they want.
Labial (Inner Lips) Correction, Reduction:
Labial straightening involves a series of procedures designed to reduce the size of the ‘inner lips’ of the vagina. The most common reason why women request this operation is that the labia are perceived as not large and aesthetically pleasing. Some women report that the large size of their labia is noticeable in tight clothing or makes them uncomfortable with activities such as cycling.
Vaginal Tightening (Vaginoplasty):
Vagina being larger than normal is one of the leading sexual problems. Because the incompatibility between the vagina and the male organ can cause orgasm problems in both partners. Vaginoplasty aims to eliminate this problem.
Vaginal tightening operations are also requested by women who state that their vaginas often become loose after childbirth or with age.
The clitoral hood is the tissue that covers and surrounds the clitoris, which is the woman’s delicate and arousing erectile tissue. This tissue or cap can often grow together with enlarged labia minora. The enlargement of the clitoral cover can negatively affect sexual pleasure during intercourse. Additionally, women with a flared clitoral hood may also want an improved cosmetic look.
The sole function of the clitoris is to create sexual pleasure. The clitoris, equivalent to a man’s penis, is covered with a cap (similar to the man’s foreskin). Sometimes this cap or tissue cover may be large, resulting in a lack of stimulus to the clitoris. It can also be uncomfortable when wearing an oversized swimsuit or tight clothing.
Mons pubis is a soft, rounded floor of tissue above the pubic bone just above the female genital area. As women get older, after childbirth, or with weight gain / loss, this area may change, grow, or have excess skin. Sometimes it can become so wide that this space looks more masculine and protrudes from the clothes. Many women are unhappy with this look and the difficulty in sexual pleasure it causes.
To correct this situation, excess fat is removed by liposuction. It can also be lifted and combined with a tummy tuck to give this area a more fluid look.
Birth Marks (Perinoplasty):
Perinoplasty treatment is a tear in the perineum during delivery. Problematic or painful births can cause severe deformations in the perineum. The purpose of perinoplasty is to correct postpartum stitch marks, deformations and to obtain an aesthetic appearance.
Virginal Dice (Hymen / Hymenoplasty):
Hymenoplasty is an aesthetic method applied to correct the virginal membrane. Correction of the membrane can be done for various reasons. Hymenoplasty is the surgical correction of a membrane that partially prevents vaginal opening. The hymen is located 1-2 cm behind the entrance to the vagina and can be completely or partially torn due to sexual intercourse, accidents and trauma.
Although there are two basic techniques, the technique known as ‘permanent hymenoplasty’ is preferred and recommended. Permanent hymenoplasty is a result of the hymen that can be preserved for years with the tissue taken from the vagina and should be done at least 2 months before sexual intercourse.
It is a procedure that can be performed under local anaesthesia and does not require hospitalisation. Hymen repairs can only be noticed at a specialist’s examination.
